During our Wild Child Yoga classes for Tweenies & Tweens we foster an environment where each child is encouraged to be their true awesome self & create a welcoming, safe environment where every child feels like they belong.
We use yoga as a tool to teach principles like gratitude, contentment, non attachment, self -love, self-belief, & respect.
Each class includes element of movement, mindfulness & mediation & we aim to teach kids to really BE in their body.
We also introduce kids to the benefits of mudras & mantras (the yogic approach to positive affirmations)
We use a combination of Yang & Yin Yoga poses as we cleverly weave in the teachings of yoga & how they can be applied to everyday life.
We aim to strengthen & stretch the body & the mind supporting kids to let their true light & best self shine bright!
The benefits of Yoga for Kids is varied & wide some are:
improved concentration increased energy levels immune system booster improved flexibility improved sleep increased ability to manage stress & anxiety Improvement in clarity of the mind increased ability to focus & concentrate improvement in self regulation & ability to self calm

The intention of these classes is to encourage children to learn to be their true awesome selves on & off the mat.
Each Term we have a different theme inspired by the season & the connecting element . See below for more information

We require registration & choice of date/time for the full/part term pass at time of booking as numbers are limited to 10 kids per class.
You can choose the same day or mix it up!
changes to the times you have selected can be made up to 48 hours prior to the class.
Similar to other activities that kids undertake, the benefits of yoga is only achieved with regular practice.
You can join mid term and you can do one trial class at any time.
For the committed yogis we also offer the option to come more than once a week.
From time to time our venue might not be available in this case we will credit your class to your account & this can be made up on another day including our Monthly Sunday sessions, no refunds will be issued.
