Wild Schools where children belong & let go of fitting in
HOW CAN I BRING YOGA INTO MY SCHOOL?
'We have three different options for you to bring yoga into your School. All our classes are 'no sweat' classes using a combination of yin yoga, mindfulness, & breath work
The Breakfast Club is our 45 minute morning yoga program designed for your students to attend before they head into their classrooms. These classes are designed to help students start the day fresh so they can concentrate & focus. It's A time to connect to themselves, build greater self awareness & create a sense of inner calm. To let go of any of the busyness of the morning & release any of yesterdays worries.
These sessions include breath work, yoga postures as well as a myofasical & bouncing session which is a unique way of literally shaking out the bodies stresses.
This session can also be opened to Teachers as well as Students and can also be done as a lunch time option
Round Robbin is our unique approach to having the whole school be immersed into the wild being culture.
The school randomly selects 10/15 students & teachers from a variety of class years & levels to come together and practice. at a designated day & time.
It's the perfect pause to the day, to pick you up, refresh you & have your students & teachers heading back to class with, increased ability to focus, greater clarity & a sense of calmness.
These sessions work well between 12 - 3pm which is often a time of the day many people have trouble focusing.
The yoga postures in these classes have lots of options so can be done no matter what the uniform the student is wearing. These classes really focus on fostering a school community where children & teachers feel they belong, they can be their true selves & really thrive.
*This can also be done per class/stage from k - year 12 as well as easily adapted for pre-schoolers
THE ZEN DEN is where we work with the school to create a space where students & teachers can come to find calm, to centre & to ground. The Zen Den is a silent space which can be open during specific school hours, & after school. It can include guided sessions or simply be a space where students & teachers can come to unwind.
Guided sessions can be generalised or designed to suit specific needs such as:
EXAMS: During Year 10/12 final year exams or naplan create a ZEN DEN timetable for students to access to help manage stress, anxiety, fears & worries.
DETENTION: instead of detention switch to INTENTION. Using Meditation is a great way to cultivate inner awareness & personal responsibility.
TERM BOOKING The Breakfast Club or Round Robbin Program $1500 based on one 60 minute or two back to back 30 minute sessions in a 10 week term limited to 15 students per session *additional children may occur a additional fee
