A 4 part introduction to Yoga Series
In these Introductory sessions we will cover:
Skelton variation - why your bones make a difference to your Physical Yoga practice.
Tension v Compression - understanding what your feeling & discovering what a 'stretch' really feels like.
Pose Variations - how to find the perfect pose for you & to let go of what every one else is doing.
Pose Types - You will learn the 7 key poses used during our live & recorded sessions and how to put into practice the information learnt above.
This is why we start with tis series so that wether you are following a pre-recorded session or participating in a live streamed class you will know how to personalise it for your unique physical body with confidence.
You will also gain access to THE ENERGY WITHYiN workshop where you will be able to develop a basic understanding of the energy that flows through out the body (the meridians) & how different poses impact you mentally, physically & emotionally.

WHY DO WE START WITHYiN ?
Yoga is so much more than a Physical practice - but it's a great place to start!
In Yoga we often talk about the human body as having 5 layers sometimes referred to as the 5 sheaths or Kosha's.
The outermost sheath (Annamaya Kosha) is the one we can all identify with as it refers to our individual physical body.
When we are in optimal health & wellbeing all 5 layers all 5 Koshas merge as if they were one & this creates that feeling of inner calm & peace but when we are unwell, these layers or parts of ourselves can feel very distinct & seperate from one another & we don't feel like we are living our lives with ease.
As part of your Yoga journey & living a life with greater ease you need to learn about each of your layers individually & then over time you will gain a greater understanding & awareness of how they impact & influence each other.

Life WithYin is a exploration into understanding your unique skeletal structure & how it impacts the way in which you participate in a physical Yoga practice.
It's the best place to start in learning about your individual physical body, what makes it unique, including understanding it's limitations.
Through this process we learn to focus on what our bodies can do, as opposed to focusing on how our bodies look in comparison to others.
During these sessions you will help you deepen your relationship with your physical body & you will learn how to adapt a physical Yoga practice to your unique individual skeletal makeup.
At the completion of these sessions you will gain access to our bonus workshop THE ENERGY WITHYiN which allows us to start to explore the Pranyama Kosha.
